Getting Gas and Getting Reciepts

I have been a paid member with The Filler Up Club now for about 2 weeks and have been saving my reciepts every time that I get gas. I need one more reciept before I send them in to get my first rebate check back. I joined at the $400 level where I am allowed to send in $130 max in reciepts each month. So when I fill up I get $32.50 each time, and I do this 4 times each month for a total of $130 in reciepts. I wanted to make sure that I sent in the max amount of reciepts each month so that I get the most back. (Very Important, Do Not send in reciepts for more than the maximum allowed for the level you join, if you do, they will not refund the amount of overages, just the amount your level allows.) Hello everyone,

     So are you ready to see me get started?  After saving for the past 2 months so that I can try The Filler Up Club and see if it really works, I am ready to get started! I have really been anticipating this and whether or not it will work, so here we go! If this is your first time joining us here this is where you can see the Gas Club that I am trying: www.MyHalfPriceGas.com

     So the next step for me is choosing what level I want to start at. There are three levels available, $200, $400, and $600.(IF YOU USE MORE THAN WHAT ONE VOUCHER WILL COVER, YOU CAN GET UP TO 5 OF THEM) The difference in the levels is the amount of reciepts you can send in and the amount of rebates you get in return at the end of each month. To figure out which level is correct for you and your family you first need to figure out how much gas you buy on a weekly and monthly basis. In my case I use $30 a week or $120 monthly so I have decided to go with the $400 level. It allows me to send in a max of $130 in reciepts each month for a return of $65 monthly. Now for this system to work the best you want to send in the max amount of reciepts allowed each month so that you get the max back! If you need help to figure out which one would work best for you and your family click on the fuel tank and rebate tab on the site and there is a complete breakdown of each individual voucher level and what the max return is. Or you can call me at 270-586-1649 and I will personally help you decide which is best for you.

     Ok, so now that I know which rebate certificate I need to purchase I click on the Fuel Tank and Rebate tab on the website and then scroll to the bottom of the page and the order form is on the left side of the page. I entered my credit card information and selected the $400 voucher. Then just hit enter and now i’m ready to go. Now I just have to keep my reciepts and mail them in each month. I already have 2 reciepts and will get another so0n.

     Next week I will be updating how everything is going and I will be getting ready to send in reciepts to get my first rebate back. So watch for my future posts…

Can you get Gas For Half Price?

With gas and diesel prices still over $2.50 per gallon americans are still searching for ways to get the best price at the pump. With so many different ways to save on fuel purchases who knows what really works and what doesn’t? You can search for stations with the best price that day, or you may have a preferred member card for a certain station that gets you a few cents off per gallon. But is there a way to get real, significant discounts on gas and diesel all the time? Maybe?
My name is Michael Petra and I am a mechanic that is reviewing and testing new programs online that claim to help you save on your fuel purchases. I have seen programs that offer vouchers, fuel additives, and proportionate discounts for fuel purchased. And then you have companies that offer gas cards as a promotion to get you to buy other products. While most of these are good deals, none of them offer a long term solution to our problem with the high and rising fuel prices. At least not til now…
I found a program in December of 2009 that was offering a 50% return of all gas and diesel purchases with a paid membership. So they were boasting half price gas! It required an upfront investment of $200-600 then just $10 monthly to stay a member. Using math I found it would take approx. 6 months to regain my initial investment at any of the three levels offered to join the club, and after that it would be a profitable investment. For someone who has the ability to spare the initial member fees this could provide an excellent way to get gas for half price.
Since they claim it can cut fuel expenses in half, I decided to set up a blog where I will be testing this club and posting my personnal results so everyone can see whether or not this really works. I don’t recommend products or services to anyone, I just review and test them to see if they will deliver on what they offer so that if its a scam you don’t get caught and lose money.

My ‘Sign Up’ with Filler Up Club to get Half Price Gas

Welcome back, I want to thank all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to read my posts on how to get your gas for half price. If this is your first time here I want to let you know what I am doing here. I have joined a gas club and will be posting what I do and the results I get from the program as it happens. This way if you decide to join you will be able to see my exact results and how I did it and most importantly That It Works.

Today I want to take you through the sign up process for the Filler Up Club.  First I went to www.myhalfpricegas.com and then entered my email address and name to create my free account. Once you set up your free account you have 15 days to start or they will delete your account, so after getting my free account I went into the main site and finished entering my personnal information, (I.E. address, Credit card info, profile info, etc.),  under the my account tab and then I selected my settings. After completing that part I took time to read through the entire site and learned how it works more… So that is what I did to sign up with the Filler Up Club, next time I will be purchasing the gas vouchers and will be saving my gas reciepts in the meantime. This is the part that gets me half of what I spend on gas purchases back. And according to the program I will recieve a check for 50% of what I spend on gas, so we will see? My Half Price Gas Account

My name is Michael Petra and I am trying a new online club called the Filler Up Club. As a member of this club you can get 50% of what you spend on gas back at the end of each month for sending in your fuel reciepts. Since there have been so many claims and scams about different programs that can save you money on your gas in the past most of us wouldn’t try any new programs for fear of it being a scam or just not working! So what I have decided to do is use this blog to show you my personnal experience so that you can see how and if it works before you ever spend a dime. I originally found this club in December 2009 and signed up with them a week later.  I am going to post progress here weekly as it happens.
